Slot missions are an excellent method to earn gear, weapons and other items. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot
The concealed weapon slot permits you to bring pistols into an operation. Some players utilize this slot to help reach certain achievements, especially those going for Suit Only. Some players make use of the extra pistol to bridge the gap. It's important to note that to select the pistols that belong in this slot you must click on the button to select the appropriate category, like machine guns in the alternate slot. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it easier to do. This combo also gives you damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is in the slot.
Smuggled Item Slot
The smuggled items slot is a good feature for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, but it could benefit from a more streamlined affordance. It's currently shaped as an a gun, that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.
The smuggle slot can be used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can also be retrieved at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects in scenery and objects.
Mission planning is a function available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled items and gear slots prior to their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This allows players to create the perfect mission for each challenge.
Gear Slot
The gear slots will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, which will result in the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message stops Max from acquiring new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space has been obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. However, as many of these challenges are scattered around the world and could be missed, it can take some time to get the largest amount of inventory slots that are available in the game.
Each player has up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.
Pickups by agencies
As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.
These pickups are especially useful when you have to pass through a frisk in the course of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You can only conceal only one item at a pick-up location.
This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you have reached the marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
